Our spring family get away!

London's closet/room

We were thrilled with our condo. I found it on line at vacation rentals by owner. Such great deals! We got it for about $50 a night!!! It only had one bedroom but we made do with a huge closet in the bathroom that London's queen size blow up fit. The only problem came when we wanted to use the bathroom in the night or early in the morning as "old" bladders tend to need. The blow up was so big the door wouldn't shut. I had to stand in her doorway so that Sean could use the facilities!! LOL that was so funny.

Our flights were so cheap! I got them for 19.99 going down and 49.99 coming home! The plane wasn't full on the way down as it was the week after Easter week so everyone had flown the week before. It was so awesome because when we flew over the Grand Canyon we moved seats and each had a window seat as no one was behind us! So our flight with taxes for the 3 of us was $312.00 including a $50 fee for our luggage! What a deal!!!
This is as close as we got to the Grand Canyon....maybe next year.

My pictures are a little out of order! I have been working on getting these pictures for 2 hours now! My stupid Internet keeps kicking me off and then erasing the picture I have put on. GRRRRR... Anyway here is Steve Nash in the air doing his thing. I have a great lens on my camera so London was just going crazy taking pictures... over 240 just of the game! Thank goodness they are digital! It was soooooo fun. This was their last game before the play-offs and they kicked some Denver Nuggets butts!

Relaxing times in our pool! It was a beautiful pool. I loved to start my morning sunbathing before all the killer shopping began! London fell out of her chair the one day...so funny. We saw a bunch of tiny lizards sunbathing as well but they didn't want to come for a swim. Our condo was on the edge of the city so we also saw plenty of rabbits!

Sean's favorite part of the Suns game....whoo hoo

This is as close as we got to Steve Nash. He played amazing.

This is #55 for the Sun's Earl Clarke. He is their new rookie and I am sure after watching him play he will become very famous. We went to the game early and sat in the cushy seats right on the court while some of the players warmed up. I learned about this last year and missed out so we made sure we were there in plenty of time. It was so exciting when he came over and signed our t-shirts and posed with London. She was so excited!!!!!

The white one was the car we got! A Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder! It was my first time in a convertible. The red one is the one Sean wanted to rent...Airmiles don't work with that one!

Man, our hair took a beating! The convertible was fun but not if you want to look good! No that isn't cousin IT ...London is behind all that hair.

We drove to Tombstone (about 2.5 hours out of Phoenix). It was amazing! We got to see the re-enactment of the shootout at the OK corral with Wyatt Earp and his gang. The guns were super loud!
We got to eat in Big Nose Kate's Saloon...which was terrible. The saloon was great, the food icky...the men's urinal was filled with ice and Sean took this picture to share. Read the sign!

The grave yard was my favorite part! It was so fun reading the grave markers. It would say who killed them or where they were shot etc. The very best part of the trip to Tombstone for me. It was so hot and I loved it!

giddy up! Marshal White's Office. His grave is about as well. Killed by Curly bill

Look at London's face. She doesn't look too thrilled to be here! She just wanted to shop and shop some more. This is the Bird Cage Theatre and a sign in front of the OK Corral that Sean liked.
I have way more pictures that I will post of our 4x4 trip through the desert.
