Final Day in Spokane Part 1

One more post after this one and the vacation pictures are over.  I still have a few summer pictures but then it is the end of summer...boo.  We loved this park so much we wanted to travel the 45 minutes to play in it with the Mossey family.
I tried to get everyone on the slide but Charlie just wanted to go down and we couldn't convince him and Sam was with him so this is as close as we got!

I think this picture turned out great especially trying to get that many people to look and smile!  They are such a cute family
The boys all got balloon swords and Maddie her very own poodle.  The didn't last very long.  I knew they would pop so we got the pictures immediately.

We went on a gondola to look at the waterfalls.  I was so excited I love these rides.  Until I got inside and figured out it is all glass, a little window and +30 outside.  Wowzers was it hot and stuffy!  I wanted them to speed up and get the ride over.

They were doing construction on the dam so the water was way down and the falls weren't as spectacular as they should have been.  I still thought they were beautiful.  I wished I could dive in at this point as sweat rolled down my face!

There were these cool metal sculptures of people running.  So we got in between them and did some poses.
I love this shot of Tyler!
Do you see the crowd of Metal people catching up behind everyone?

Seaweed hair...the new look

It all started with this! There was seaweed everywhere along the beach. London started by making a mustache. The kids threw it at each other and then the fun really started.

Charlie...throwing sand and rocks instead!

Ummm...do they know about the micro bugs in seaweed stuff! It was so funny! I laughed my head off.

Couture seaweed! Doesn't it look like some weird photo shoot on the beach! I was having so much fun I didn't even look around to see what others were thinking.

Sammy Seaweed sporting the new fall messy look

London is wearing the Princess Leia messy

This is "the European" featured below.....the arm pits have been combed out and teased! lol

Adam is doing the long Mohawk. The over the eye look is huge this season!

Jarom was so funny! Him and London went crazy showing the walkway strut and crazy hair!

This is the Friar Tuck! Sean is starting to sport this look in real life!

I think Jarom wants long hair

Jarom's version of arm pit hair! Wow, that is a lot.

Chest hair!

Cousin IT! I still can't believe, despite my many warnings of what might live in there, London still put it on her face! I guess some people pay big bucks for seaweed wraps! Her skin has looked younger and tighter.

Uni brow!

What a fun day! I laughed so hard, I had tears running down my legs!

Well, I must-dash! Have a great day!

Go ahead and Jump!

This is a continuation of our beach day!  While on the beach we saw a bunch of crazy boys jumping and doing jumps off this bridge.  I, being the responsible parent, wanted them to jump off so I could take pictures.
This is them peering over the edge seeing if it is deep enough.
Off she goes!
This is where Sam got the name "the Chicken".  She just watched.  When we went to Silverwood she wouldn't even go on the simplest of rides.  She stressed out and almost had an anxiety attack over everything.  I think it is because she has never done amusement parks and because she was raised mostly by grandparents.  You know how chicken we all get the older we get.  It was very frustrating because she was missing out on all the fun because of imagined "what ifs".

This is Adam,"silent but deadly"  He is quieter than Jarom but misses nothing.

Now they are really getting into showing off their jumping skills

Sam actually got to the edge of the Bridge and checked it out but still wouldn't jump despite my telling her to!

The classic Spin in the air!
This is the sign that is posted on the bridge.  We saw it from the beginning but obviously ignored it!

Trying to do tricks in the water, make a floating star.  It didn't work out very well,  I think everyone needs the same length of arms!
Trying for an artistic picture of everyone looking into the distance.

Sean came later in the day.  We finally convinced Sam she is missing out on way too much of life because of her fears and she needs to try and overcome them, that they are silly and in her head.  She would only jump with Sean promising to be at the bottom.
Of course, once she finally tried it, she loved it and did it many times by herself after that first jump!

The running man mid air!
Doing bigger and bigger jumps!
This is the "enforcer" getting her revenge for the poke earlier in the day!  These pictures make me chuckle. When you enlarge them you can really see their faces.
