Wet and Juicy Kisses/

While we were in Phoenix we researched places we wanted to visit. This looked fun so we went. It was a cooler day in Phoenix...but we didn't think how much cooler it would be 2 hrs north. We froze our hiney's off! brrrr. This cost about $120 to get in with the special tour...but the two hoodies we had to buy was $70 extra! It was too far away to go to another store so London and Sean bought one as we were freezing! It was 10 degrees but in shorts and with a big wind...I thought I would die. This is called a Unimog. It was so fun! We payed the extra $15 each and it was so worth it. They gave us cookies at the beginning of the tour that you could feed some of the animals. Everyone liked the cookies (they were made out of soy so they were safe from Sean)! They came in droves to eat them. So, are Zebras black with white stripes or white with black stripes? I got the answer and the babies are brown...cute....but mean! They bite so we were warned to stay away from them. The one could even open the door.

Here is the sloppiest kisser of all! Beware!!! Sloppy kisses ahead.

They gave us these cookies and said you could put them into your mouth and let the animal take them. They didn't warn us how slimy it was. I was the first one to dare try it. I loved it! Only one other person on the tour besides our family did it. The rest put it in their hand....chickens!

See how happy Sean looks...looks like love to me.

London's first official kiss besides us...he even used the tongue! Yuck...so much for her trip. I told her if she made it to sweet 16 and never been kissed, I would take her on a trip somewhere in the world of her choice. The deal is off.

Look how long! In every picture I close my eyes. I guess I always do when I kiss.

I was so good he is coming back for more!

The one other guy I convinced to try it!

Pucker up loverboy!

This is Humprey the camel! He had the softest lips....I liked kissing him. They were so soft and he was gentle.

The tiger wanted to be petted so bad...she rubbed herself up and down the fence. They are so cute. I didn't try to give her a kiss.

This is my favoritest picture! Look at that tongue and the look on her face!!!!!

The End.....I love Giraffe bums

*side note. I have tons of pictures to share I have to put lots on as this is my journal and scrapbook combined. You comments are my favorite thing. I am publishing the last couple of years into a book and I have saved your comments in it as they always make me smile. So thanks for your comments it means a lot to me.

Home away from home!

Well our trip to Phoenix was amazing! Full of some fun and not so fun events. I will be sharing each one is great detail! This is the fountain that welcomed us to our condo and entrance to the pool. I can't recommend VRBO enough. It is so amazing to get to stay in these fully furnished condos or houses for such great prices. It is cheaper than a hotel. This was under 100.00 a night. This was our pool and it was mostly our own private paradise. It was so nice to soak in the sun and hear all the amazing birds around us. Sun tanning day! This was our last morning here. We were so sad to leave! We came home to snow...surprise surprise. beautiful bathing girl! I feel so bad for London she was sick the whole time we were in Phoenix. Started with a sore throat...then went to a stuffy nose. She went through 3 Kleenex boxes and her nose was soooo sore. It was a gated entrance so we had to put codes in each day! I liked the extra safety. Not that I have ever felt unsafe in Phoenix it just keeps everyone out of the pool! The outside of our Condo. It was a two bedroom. Living room! It actually got cold two days so we used the fireplace! We joked who would need a fireplace there...I guess us! Dinning room. Everything is kind of a mess as it was our last day there so we were packing up and stuff was scattered around . It is so nice to have a kitchen as we cooked some of our meals and had all our own snacks. Our Office with no computer! It is so dumb that they don't have computers they just assume we all have our own. We had the i-pad so that is how I updated my facebook all the time. The house was wireless so that was nice . Yes there is green grass in the world! The first thing we did when we got there was take off our shoes and put our toes in the grass. It was so nice. We were right on the golf course so our view was beautiful. It was full of beautiful birds as well. These are some quail.

Ahhhh...beautiful isn't it. It is so nice to be home but I miss the warmth and beauty of our condo.

Long cold winter activities

My first successful Crochet project was a hat! Thank goodness for the Internet in helping me. I took that one hat and have worked it many different ways. I created many of my own little hats and I love doing them. I am hoping others will love them too as the plan is to sell them!
These are my crochet totes! I use them to haul around all my yarn. Why the sudden interest in Crochet? I joined the greatest club ever! It is the Fibre Arts Club here in Medicine Hat. I get full access to all the goodies, such as looms and dying kits, spinning wheels, etc. I even have a wonderful mentor for whatever project I want to learn. Peggy Moore is mine and I just love her! I love weaving. I have woven a scarf, two dish towels (darn I need a picture), and now I am working on a jacket! It is so fun. Now I always have a project on the go.

What a cute model hey? I just wanted to show off everything I made.

Cute head bands and my favorite slouchy hat! These are so warm.

Man, Dad is so funny! I love his smile in this one! He didn't want to be missing out of the modelling action.

London is holding little kids hats. I need to make a bunch more of them because we always buy stuff for our kids right?

I love this scarf! I am so happy with the way it turned out. I had some difficulty at first but after taking it out 100x, I finally got the pattern right and even

This is the scarf I wove! I love it. It is very thick and soft.

Well, this is a lot of yarn used. I was constantly crocheting at basketball games and in front of the TV. This isn't all of it as many have been given away.

London wore one of my hats out and got great reviews.

Friends don't let Friends drive Red Tractors

Sean's new baby! Need I say more? The only reason he isn't sleeping with it is because it is cold outside and I am softer!

More Green for St. Patrick

This was our meal for St. Patrick's day. I never finished posting the rest of the day. I wanted lots of green stuff, so here it all is. Green snickerdoodle cookies I even put on a green table cloth. Don't the guys just look thrilled? I couldn't decide between pistachio pudding or green jello, so I did both and we mixed them and they were yummy! Who would have thunk?

sweetheart hair

I found this website when I was blog surfing. I posted it a couple of posts ago with London's St. Patricks day hair. I realized I still didn't post the valentine's hair do! I actually used a needle and thread and sewed her hair up! I needed all the hands I could get to get this one done. How cute is that!!! Didn't it turn out good? I just love it! I need to be able to do it on myself! lol Can you imagine using that big needle on your own head....it wouldn't turn out well!

Service Project.....blackness and mooning the masses!

We live in an area of great flooding the last few years. Poor Irvine 20 km south of us (I think) has lost so much last year in flooding, only to have the wettest spring, more snow fall facing them and flooding is looming again. Our Stake President, Bruce Hill, saw a need and volunteered us as members to fill it! We filled over 12000 sandbags the other Saturday, many of which were placed around houses to protect them from rising waters. I was worried that the work would be too heavy but it was great! I was the bag holder and chief tyer in my little area of a couple people! lol The only thing was, boy, did we get dirty, as you can see!

Sean was busy until noon so I thought we would just go later but London was up and ready prodding me along to go early! So she and I went and I am so glad that she encouraged me to go. It is such a good feeling doing service. It was nice to see a lot of people we don't get to see very often and talk and laugh with each other. Service is amazing and I know I need to do more in my life. It is important to forget my problems and go out and get it done!

I was wearing a toque and so when I took it off, watch out! So funny. There are no pictures of London because she is a cool cat teenager and washed it all off on the way home...spoil sport! She was plenty dirty as well. She is such a hard worker. I am impressed with her.

Ok, funny story with these. Almost my first time down I felt them rip. They are big pants so there should have been lots of room....but the way I squatted down ripped them, I guess. The bad part is, I never really looked. I felt a cold breeze but I just ignored it. It wasn't until we were home and Sean picked them off the floor and asked me if I wanted to throw them out. I said well I don't think so it is just a little rip I can mend...he then brought them around the corner and I almost died! LITTLE>>>YIKES I walked around all day, squatted everywhere and ate my lunch on the floor with my legs sprawled out! The only way I could ever return to Church is telling myself I had a really long coat and no one saw my entire butt hanging out. It was half way down my leg for goodness sake! I just pray that everyone was busy working and not peeking....surely someone would have told me if they saw right?
